Welcome Parishioners, Guests, and Seekers! We welcome you to our parish home and hope that you will be comfortable and experience the love of Christ! We are a Mission Parish dedicated to teaching the Gospel within Holy Tradition and sharing the spiritual life. You will experience the One, Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church, founded in Jerusalem and preserved throughout the centuries by the martyrs and the faithful Orthodox Christians. This Week

  • Pageant Rehearsal

    Starting today (Sunday), weekly

    Starting today, all girls in Grades 6-12 will have a weekly 15-20 minute rehearsal for the Nativity Pageant to learn the Finale. As soon as Father dismisses the Sunday School from the Divine Liturgy, please quickly get your snack and be prepared to come back into the Chapel to rehearse right after the last person receives their Antidoron. After rehearsal you will be dismissed to your Sunday School class. Questions: please see our Choir Director, Philanthy Nichols.

  • Funeral for Basil (Bill) Veglas

    Tuesday, October 14

    Basil (Bill) Veglas, 85, passed away peacefully at Cornerstone Hospice on October 5, 2025. He is survived by his wife Joanne Tates Veglas after 61 years of marriage. He was born in Boston, MA, son of the late Demetrios Veglas and Mary George Veglas. St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, Belleview, FL: 10:00 AM Viewing, 11:00 AM Funeral. National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL: 1:00 PM Burial. After burial, Mercy Meal at St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, Belleview, FL.

  • Funeral for Peter Strategos

    Wednesday, October 15

    Peter Strategos passed away this week on Monday, October 6th. He was one of the founding members of our church. In addition, he was past choir director and parish council member for many years. St. Mark Greek Orthodox Church, Belleview, FL: 10:00 AM Viewing, 11:00 AM Funeral. National Cemetery, Bushnell, FL: 1:00 PM Burial.

    We will not be having our Inquirers class or Bible Study this week due to the funerals taking place this week. Normal classes will resume next week.

All parishioners and Friends of St Mark, we need your help! We can burn our mortgage and chart a debt free future but we can't do it without you. Sylvia Cardone remembered us with a gift that brings us close to our goal. We are still short of what we need. God will provide, and with your help we will reach our goal and Burn the Mortgage! Wednesday Evening Bible Study

We're considering starting a Wednesday evening class and want to know your interest. Would you prefer a Bible Study or a class on Orthodox books? Please share your thoughts or sign up near the candles at the entrance. Your participation helps guide our ministry!

A Word on Stewardship

We are excited to announce the start of our parish-wide Stewardship Drive! God is doing great things in our community, and each of us is called to take part in His work. Stewardship sign-ups will be available near the entrance by the candles, and on October 17th, a basket will be placed in front of the icon of The Theotokos. Join us in offering back to God a portion of the blessings He has given us, as we grow together in faith and service.
